Pranayama. Basic practices for mastering time intervals
Pranayama is of two types of duration of breath - which is equal to the phase and unequal phase, but in pranayama mostly used unequal phase. Similarly, all stages of the respiratory phase sequence - breath, delay, expiration - are of equal length. When unequal phase duration of episodes of respiratory sequence differ from one another. The following 2 courses - only for beginners to practice their sense of time.
Course 1. Duration: equal phase
Here, the temporal relationship to inhale-exhale-delay - delay 1:1:1:1. Installation 6 seconds in this ratio provides a training count the steps as follows. Sit straight and breathe through both nostrils.
Step 1 6:6
Just inhale and exhale a few times - as long as you will not have the proper sense of time and its timing will not become habitual.
Step 2 6:4:6
Inhale, exhale, and delay the manner described above until the delay function will not be familiar to you.
Third step 6:6:6
Same as above, with increasing duration of delay and getting used to it.
